"What if I fail?" became "What can I learn?”

That's how my journey started 11 months ago.

I really wanted to try something different. That's how I decided on Ireland for my Masters. It was the 'right' country for me for a fresh start.

Ofcourse, it came with a whole lot of 'what ifs'.

The numbers obviously say one part of my story. I applied to 329 jobs in which I was 313 times rejected and ended up with 4 offers.

But my story is all in my mindset change.

When rejections started coming in, I soon realised that if I have to survive this, I needed to keep me grounded.

So, I created a routine. And I followed it like my life depended on it.

It was hard. Really hard, to be honest. But it became my anchor.

My biggest lesson wasn't about job hunting at all. It was about building something bigger than a resume.

About becoming someone I was proud of.

I wanted to stand out of the crowd. And I understood that the only way for me to do it was to built a personality for myself that can’t be ignored. I wanted a presence that could not be ignored.

And with Unimad, I found the way to do it.

I found my way of standing out.

Today, I am more than happy to have a clarity, and know my direction.

To everyone starting this journey, take this as a reminder to put yourself out. That could be what gets you hired.

Build that first and the rest will follow.
